The Faculty of Fine Arts and Communications (FFAC) of MacEwan University is recruiting for a talented, professional Administrative Support III. The individual in this full-time continuing position will provide administrative support for Faculty of Fine Arts and Communications (FFAC) Dean’s office and FFAC programs: word processing; internal correspondence; preparation of internal documents for human resources purposes; minute-taking; reception and related support; and maintenance of files in accordance with the University’s file management and retention policies.
Proficiency is required in all office duties and in the use of Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, and Google Suite. Familiarity with Adobe Creative Cloud would be an asset. Experience with enterprise software and the ability to master PeopleSoft at the intermediate level are required. The successful candidate will have well-developed interpersonal skills, strong organizational and problem-solving skills, above-average verbal and written communication skills; proof-reading skills; minute-taking skills; be adaptable and possess the ability to work independently and prioritize competing demands.
This position requires an administrative assistant diploma or other post-secondary education, and 3 - 5 years of related experience. A combination of education and experience may be considered.
