Course Production Technician

Opportunity

The eLearning Office is seeking a highly skilled course production technician to work with a project team to develop and maintain a variety of online and blended courses. This is a full-time continuing position.

Applicants must have the following:

  • Ability to create HTML 5 content, using Javascript and CSS with a program such as DreamWeaver

  • Ability to create instructional video using screen capture applications and a program such as Premiere or After Effects

  • Ability to create instructional graphics and animations using programs such as Photoshop, Illustrator, Captivate, or Articulate

  • Excellent written and verbal communication

  • Ability to collaborate with diverse team members and clients

  • A degree or diploma in computing science, media, digital arts or equivalent

  • Two years’ related experience

Individuals with knowledge of BlackBoard Learn and experience working in a post-secondary environment will be preferred.

Applicants are expected to provide three references and, if invited for an interview, to provide examples of representative web design and multi-media projects. A practical activity will follow the interview.
