Marketing Coordinator – Aramark Higher Education at MacEwan University Food Services

This position will assist in the development and implementation of marketing plans and programs for food services at MacEwan University. The Marketing Coordinator reports to the Food Services Director (Aramark Higher Education). The Marketing Coordinator helps to support all critical business initiatives from a marketing and communications perspective, including sales growth, market penetration, customer retention, quality image, improved margins and market share for their campus and Aramark Higher Education. Position requires intermediate knowledge of graphic design and, specifically, experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, Premiere Pro) as well as proficiency in Microsoft office and experience with web CMS and SEO. Email marketing program, Google Adwords and PPC experience are considered assets.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, customize and execute Marketing Calendar of promotions, events and corporate initiatives
• Produce and maintain marketing and communication materials for all food service locations on campus
• Create/maintain consistent campus-wide signage and ensure food service locations have appropriate daily menu signage
• Work with retail managers to ensure that all planograms and merchandising is up to standards at all retail locations
• Work closely with Campus Services marketing team to plan, create and execute food services marketing and communication projects and campaigns
• Host tabling events and interact with students on a regular basis
• Responsible for measuring the results of the marketing programs and gaining customer feedback
• Interact and build strong relationships with all levels of clients and customers, as well as, internal Aramark and client marketing teams to accomplish goals and objectives
• Manage all social media channels (Instagram, Twitter & Facebook)
