The Administrative Support III is responsible for contributing to the success and operation of the School of Continuing Education International unit. The Admin Support III is often the initial contact with prospective and returning students, and therefore, must be knowledgeable about the University and program policies.
Responding to inquiries from students. This includes: admission requirements, course offerings, prerequisites, registration procedures, fees and fee payments and academic and student services. The Admin Support III is also responsible for specific tasks within these areas.
Providing administrative support to the unit, including staff and instructors, and responding to email and telephone inquiries.
The successful candidate will have exceptional organizational and time-management skills and be able to maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. Strong intercultural communication, customer service, and computer skills (including Microsoft, Blackboard, and PeopleSoft) are integral to success in this role. The incumbent is also expected to have interpersonal and problem solving skills, strong critical thinking skills, be flexible and able to prioritize in a fast-paced, limited supervision, high demand environment. Successful completion of computer courses would be considered an asset.
Minimum of a diploma in Office Administration, Business Administration, or a related field;
2 years’ of related experience supporting program delivery at a post-secondary institution;
