Opportunity
The Facilities Division at MacEwan University is the largest service department. Facilities designs, maintains and operates our campuses and grounds, ensuring that they are secure, clean, functional, sustainable, and inspiring.

We have opportunities for five positions (2 term positions ending on or before August 31, 2019 and 3 casual positions) to assist in providing a clean and safe environment for staff and students. In this position, the incumbent will clean and maintain floors; clean washrooms; wash windows; dust and sanitize furniture/equipment as required.

Qualifications
The successful candidates must have a minimum of six months related experience and be able to operate basic custodial equipment, floor scrubbers, carpet cleaners, and vacuums. In addition, the successful candidate must be able to work safely with chemicals. WHMIS training is preferred, although training could be provided to the successful candidate.

The ideal candidate must be able to understand and communicate in English and must be physically fit.
