Opportunity

Reporting to the Director, Finance & Business Operations, the Administrative Support III provides support for both the Sessional Instructors and the Dean’s office in the School of Business.  Major responsibilities include organizing and scheduling meetings, reconciliation of expenses, and maintenance of files in accordance with the University’s file management and retention policies. This position is also a back-up to other administrative roles within the School of Business. 

This is a full-time term position ending May 4th, 2019.

Skills

Proficiency is required in all office duties and in the use of Microsoft Office is required. The successful candidate will have well-developed interpersonal skills, strong organizational and problem-solving skills, above-average verbal and written communication skills, proof-reading skills and minute-taking skills. The ability to work independently, be adaptable and prioritize competing demands is required.

Qualifications

This position requires a diploma in administration or other related post-secondary education, as well as 2 years of related experience. Experience working in a post-secondary environment is preferred.
