The Department of English in the Faculty of Arts and Science at MacEwan University has an ongoing need for sessional instructors to teach first year courses and invites applications for the upcoming year. Applicants must hold a minimum of a Master’s degree in the relevant discipline or related fields. Post-secondary teaching experience is an asset.
In general, the English department seeks instructors for first-year service courses. These include ENGL 102: Argument and Analysis, ENGL 103: Introduction to Literature, ENGL 199: Writing for Engineering Students, and WRIT 101: First-Year Writing.

Interested candidates should submit a short letter of interest and curriculum vitae. Please indicate any experience that you have in teaching writing at the post-secondary level. (Fall, Winter, Spring/Summer) you would be available. Applications will be reviewed and kept on file for consideration depending on our needs as teaching assignments become available.
