Opportunity (three positions)

MacEwan University has an opportunity for two casual and one full-time continuing Print Operator I for MacEwan Print Services within Campus Services. This position is responsible for the day to day operations of Print Services ensuring the delivery of high-quality print job to MacEwan staff and students. This is a casual position that reports to the Senior Manager of Transportation, Print and Mail Services. This position will average about 15 hours per week between 8AM to 430PM Monday to Friday.


Skills
The Print Services Operator 1 is responsible for satisfying customer requirements for digital reprographics and binding needs by providing high quality, cost effective, error-free, on-time solutions for customers’ print communication needs.

Position Requirements

Proficient in operating high speed production digital printers, scanners and ancillary devices in a networked computer environment. Proficient in operating bindery equipment. Self-directed with excellent organizational and workflow management skills. Excellent customer service and interpersonal communication skills. Minimum of 2 years’ experience working in a networked digital print environment.

Qualifications
Grade 12. High-speed digital printer/copier operation training. Computer training in network use and file management.
