Assistant Professor, Creative Writing (Full-Time Limited-Term Appointment)

The Department of English in the Faculty of Arts and Science invites applications for a full-time limited-term appointment in Creative Writing at the rank of Assistant Professor, commencing approximately September 1, 2019, until June 30, 2020.

The successful candidate will teach primarily in the areas of Creative Writing and introductory English during the 2019-2020 academic year. This full-time equivalent workload includes expectation of time for a scholarly/creative component in addition to teaching.

Preferred candidates should hold at minimum an MA or MFA in Creative Writing and will demonstrate a primary commitment to undergraduate teaching and creative writing.

Applicants should submit a cover letter, curriculum vitae, teaching dossier (including recent teaching evaluations), a sample of scholarly/creative work, and academic transcripts.
