Opportunity
Reporting to the Dean, School of Business, the Manager of Governance will support the Dean & the School Council to ensure that governance processes operate in accordance with policy and other sources of regulation. This will be achieved through the development and implementation of appropriate structures, processes and guidance.
This position is also responsible for providing support to decision-making bodies within the Faculty's bicameral governance structure, and in the execution of the MacEwan Faculty Collective Agreement. The successful candidate will also provide a bridge between the School & institution-level governance structures, and support the shared governance model with appropriate structures & processes

Skills
Over 5 years of progressively responsible experience in a governance and/or administrative role in a large institution. Experience within a University environment is preferred
Experience providing support and advice to senior administrative officials and/or executives.
Experience providing formal secretarial functions to an executive board or committee.

Qualifications
A university degree in business administration, or equivalent
A Master’s degree is preferred
