Assistant Professor, Engineering (Full-Time Limited-Term Appointment)

The Engineering Transfer Program in the Faculty of Arts and Science at MacEwan University invites applications for a ten month limited term non tenure-track appointment in Engineering at the rank of Assistant Professor, commencing July 1, 2020, subject to final budgetary approval.

The successful candidate will play a significant role in delivering the first-year engineering curriculum, including courses in engineering professionalism, and must have a P.Eng. designation, preferably with registration in Alberta. Preferred candidates will hold a Ph.D. (or evidence of near completion) in Engineering and demonstrate a commitment to undergraduate teaching. Of particular interest are candidates with a background in Civil or Mechanical Engineering.
