The Capital Planning, Projects, and Asset Management Analyst is responsible for supporting the coordination, preparation and analysis of financial information and reports pertaining to all aspects of asset management (including but not limited to capital asset working papers, inventory records, asset replacement analysis).
The role performs comprehensive financial analysis of various data, investigate discrepancies, compile, coordinate and prepare detailed schedules and reports.
This is a key role in administering the University's Project Costing module and ensuring data integrity within the Asset Management Database.
Our ideal candidate would possess strong problem solving, analytical, investigative, organizational and time management skills, be detail oriented, and exhibit excellent verbal and written communication skills.
The successful candidate will also have an intermediate level of experience using Microsoft Excel and be experienced with modelling and complex spreadsheets and databases.
Applicants should have a degree in Finance or Accounting and be in the final stages of acquiring a professional accounting designation, along with a minimum of 3 years of experience in a mid to large size corporation/institution. Equivalencies may be considered.
Preference will be given to applicants having experience with Business Intelligence tools and PeopleSoft applications, specifically the Asset Management module.
