Project Coordinator

Opportunity

Reporting to the Director, Planning and Projects, the Project Coordinator supports and coordinates activities of the Facilities Project Group by assisting in the development, implementation and maintenance of project processes and records. This position provides project management and business support to the various projects undertaken by Facilities. The Project Coordinator will also be required to plan and execute small to mid-size projects ranging from $20K to $250K. In addition, the Project Coordinator will assist the Facilities Planner with university wide space audits and regular updates to the CAD drawings.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Architecture, Building Science, Engineering, Construction Management, or another related field
• Proficient use of AutoCAD
• PMP or an equivalent certification would be considered an asset
• Three or more years in a supporting role in construction project management or construction administration.
• Experience in a post-secondary environment would be an asset.
