This position will be the first point of contact for all students visiting the Advising Office. The incumbent will provide customer service to align with the mission of the SoB and University. The incumbent is accountable for contributing to the success of the Office by providing administrative support to advisors and students, the incumbent provides efficient administrative support to ensure the successful operation of all portfolios in the Advising Office. The position works collaboratively with various areas and serves as the internal and external liaison for the Advising Office.
Customer service experience
Excellent in using Microsoft Office suite
Excellent in using Google suite
Ability to learn data information systems
Experience of PeopleSoft is an asset
Resilient and problem solver
Office Assistant diploma, or other related post-secondary education
Minimum one year experience
Experience working with Microsoft Office software suite, applications (Teams, SharePoint, etc.), and Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Forms, etc.)
Able to multitask and have an understanding on how to manage confidential situations
