Our Finance, Procure to Pay Department is seeking for candidates for an 18-month replacement term Procurement Contract Coordinator position. This position is responsible for the coordination, administration, drafting, and completion of procurement contract documents in relation to the acquisition of goods and services required to support university operations. The successful incumbent will liaise with university stakeholders to coordinate, monitor, and report on contract elements in support of planning for new, expiring and/or renewing contracts. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Procure to Pay, the position also provides support to the Senior Advisor, Procurement and Contracts for the competitive bidding process.

This is an 18-month full-time replacement term position.


  • Exceptional attention to detail

  • Ability to identify risk and propose strategies to mitigate same in the contracting process

  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and projects

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

  • Strong interpersonal, analytical and organizational skills

  • Demonstrated ability to deliver services in a service-oriented and client-centered environment

  • High level skill in using computers including experience with standard business applications including Microsoft Office (i.e. Excel)

  • Demonstrated ability to work as a strong contributor in a team environment and able to effectively interact with all levels of management and staff

  • Experience with Contract Management Databases, preferably PeopleSoft FSCM modules (i.e. e-procurement, procurement, PO Contract)


  • Requires a diploma and/or certification in business administration, contract management, business law, supply chain management, procurement, or related discipline

  • Knowledge of relevant legislation and trade agreements with respect to public procurement obligations is desirable

  • Knowledge and experience in applying principles of project management desirable

  • Knowledge of contract law desirable
