Listening to the MacEwan community, celebrating diversity and building a culture of human rights—Irfan believes that these actions will make MacEwan University a human rights leader in the post-secondary sector. Through his teaching and research interests, Irfan is continually reminded of the work needed to support individuals and groups who experience discrimination, hate, violence and injustice because of who they are. He is committed to creating a campus culture in which students, faculty and staff become human rights champions both inside and outside of MacEwan.
