In her former life, Kim was a junior high math and CTS teacher. Although she loved trying to convince teenagers that they didn't actually hate math, Kim ended up working in post-secondary education. With an M.Ed. in Educational Technology, Kim has been a sessional instructor, instructional designer, research project manager and graduate program coordinator.
For the past seven years, Kim has been working in faculty development, supporting instructors in exploring ways to effectively use technology in their courses. Kim has expertise in many educational technologies, including those that support blended learning, active learning and digital assignments.
