Aquatic Camp Counselors
Camp Counselors are responsible for supporting with set-up, and the direct and ongoing delivery of Aquatics day camps. Expected hours of work are, 8 hours per day, scheduled between 7:30 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. on PD days or over the Christmas Holidays. Counselors will also assist with processing registrations, participants’ drop off and pick up, camp activities and other related tasks as assigned. The ideal candidate must be able to relate comfortably to children of all ages and demonstrate flexibility, dependabilit, initiative, and a positive and enthusiastic attitude.
Swim Lesson Volunteer
Swim Lesson Volunteers help Swim Instructors in providing safe, fun lessons for both children and adults. This includes Parent and Tot, Preschool, Swimmer, Canadian Swim Patrol, Junior Lifeguard Club, Adult lessons, and Private lessons. Individuals of all ages and professional backgrounds can apply. No experience teaching lessons required. Proof of a Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Check is required. Volunteering for this program is Co-Curricular Record Eligible!
Swim to Survive Volunteers
Volunteer with Sport and Wellness and help us teach our MacEwan students how to Swim to Survive! The Swim to Survive Champion is a volunteer who assists the aquatic department in delivering safe and fun Swim to Survive lessons for MacEwan students. Volunteering for this program is Co-Curricular Record Eligible!
