The Central Authentication Service -- or CAS -- is a single sign-on protocol for the web. Its purpose is to allow our students, staff and faculty to access different applications with their university credentials (MacEwan University network ID and password).
The first application to use CAS is lynda.com. MacEwan students, staff and faculty can get to lynda.com's vast library of online training resources by using their credentials to log in. When you go to http://www.lynda.com/portal/macewan you will be redirected to login via CAS.
Look for more applications at MacEwan University to be added to the CAS login system in the near future.
