Black History Month 2021
February is Black History Month.
Join us virtually for Black History Month 2021, a series of online events creating a space to reflect on the realities Black Canadians continue to face regarding racism and discrimination.
Events this year include a keynote address presented by Senator Wanda Thomas Bernard to discuss how to build a more inclusive society, a forum to review racial inequalities amplified by COVID-19 and opportunities to learn more about Black Canadians' contributions to our culture and history at MacEwan Library.
All events are free and open to the public, however, registration may be required.
