Wellness During and After COVID

As the Mental Health Week kickoff event, this talk examines the psychological frameworks of self-determination, psychological flexibility, and provides direction for increasing well-being during and beyond the COVID-19 pandemic.

Andrew J. Howell, Ph.D., R. Psych.

Dr. Andrew J. Howell is a clinical psychologist and professor in the Department of Psychology at MacEwan University. He teaches courses in clinical psychology and well-being studies. His research focuses on well-being, implicit theories of psychopathology, and stigmatizing attitudes towards people experiencing psychological disorders. His recent work has been published in Stigma and Health, Journal of Social and Clinical Psychology, Journal of Contextual and Behavioral Sciences, and Journal of Happiness Studies.
