Pride Week 2021
Join MacEwan University to celebrate the diversity of our students, faculty and staff and to support the LGBTQ2S+ community and allies.
Pride Week 2021 goes virtual this year, with a mix of live events and prerecorded experiences.
This year’s celebrations are deeply collaborative and, for the first time, multi-institutional, as we welcome our neighboring post-secondary communities from NAIT, NorQuest and Concordia University of Edmonton to join in this week of fun, unique and educational events.
In addition to the below activities, don’t miss the rainbows downtown, thanks to ATB and the City of Edmonton — don’t forget to tag MacEwan’s Centre for Sexual and Gender Diversity in your photos on social with #MacEwanPride:
-
The ATB Building downtown will be lit up with the colours of Pride for the entire week
-
The High Level Bridge will shine with pride on Thursday, March 3
-
Visit the Mitchell Art Gallery’s current exhibition, Dress & Escapism: Performance of Identity through Drag and Burlesque Costume running until March 27.
