Sometimes the prize is in the process
Entrepreneur. Workaholic. Wicked sense of adventure.
For 15 years, Neall Alden made his living marketing some of the best skiing and snowboarding on the planet. Building a tour business from scratch may seem like a boarder’s dream, but for Neall, the real adventure wasn’t necessarily taking people to the mountains. It was about starting something new and seeing it grow.
“I’m still an avid boarder – being on top of a mountain and experiencing the flow of water and snow, the soft spaces, and the wind in the trees – that’s heaven,” says the alumnus of MacEwan University’s Public Relations program. “But I’ve learned that for me, success isn’t really about the destination. It’s about building something great along the way.”
