Board/President Relationship

The Board of Governors has delegated most of its responsibilities for the day-to-day operation and administration of the University to the President of the University. The President is the Chief Executive Officer of the University and has the responsibility for implementing the policies enacted by the Board of Governors.

The delegation of these responsibilities to the President raises an important duty on the part of the Board to demand and receive reports of the President, as to the conduct of and compliance with Board policies.
