Learn about human rights and gender equality issues. Witness the impact of sustainability initiatives and poverty education. Get creative at hands-on workshops. This is Global Awareness Week.

Whether you come to feed your mind, your heart or your belly, this week-long celebration has something for everyone: engaged speakers, international cuisine and cultural celebrations. In addition to the events listed below, you can also find photo exhibits, displays and some speakers at Griffins Landing (in Building 6) throughout the week.

Visit the John L. Haar and Alberta College Campus libraries from Jan. 27 to 31 to check our displays of books and resources that support the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
