Get to Work Career Fair
At the Get to Work Career Fair, employers are invited to register and set up displays with information about their company or organization. All MacEwan students, staff and faculty are welcome to attend. There are about 70 displays.
This Fair presents students with the opportunity to learn about employment opportunities, types of jobs, qualifications required, and application processes. Employers attend because they want to meet their potential future employees.
Even if students are not looking for work immediately, this is a great opportunity for some career exploration and employer networking.
To be ready for a career fair, there are several tips and suggestions on the Career Development and Experiential Learning (CDEL) social media accounts.
During the week prior to the fair, tables will be set up near the staircase of the CDEL office (Room 7-121) for students to do a rapid resume review, so they can be ready to discuss and share their background and experience with employers.
This event includes all types of jobs (summer, permanent and part time).
