Model United Nations Conference Students

Model UN

Learn about world affairs, put your debating skills to the test, represent a United Nations country at a conference that simulates a meeting of the UN.

At the Alberta Intercollegiate Model United Nations (AIMUN), which takes place every year, you work alongside fellow students to try to resolve an issue of global concern. This conference develops leadership skills, opens your eyes to possible career choices and shows you what it really means to be a global citizen.

If you are interested in the AIMUN conference, you might also be interested in joining MacEwan’s student UN Club. Each year, we travel to New York to participate in the National Model United Nations, the world’s largest Model UN conference, and we often attend UN conferences in other countries too.
