Anna Marie Sewell is the author of Fifth World Drum (Frontenac, 2009). Her new book of poems, Songs for the Changing Moon, will be published in 2018. Born in Fredericton of Mi’kmaq, Anishinabe and Polish heritage, she and her family moved when she was six to Alberta’s Peace River Country. From 2011 to 2013, she served a term as Edmonton’s Poet Laureate.
