Environment Week 2017
Environment Week is an annual celebration of culture, society, and the environment that takes place all across Edmonton and throughout many Canadian communities.
Throughout Environment Week the Office of Sustainability will host various activities to showcase exciting initiatives that are building a sustainable future on campus and beyond. Get involved with the Commuter Challenge, or various tours and events that aim to connect, engage, and inspire positive action for a greener world.
Environment Week Events:
June 4-11: Burn less fuel and more calories for a healthier world in the Commuter Challenge.
June 5: Take part in an Urban Beekeeping Tour.
June 7: Clean air is vital to support Edmontonians now and for generations to come, take part in Clean Air Day.
June 9: Close out the commuter challenge with the Office of Sustainability, MacEwan Bikes, and Paths for People for the Bike to Work breakfast.
June 9: Learn what innovative sustainability initiatives are happening on campus on the Campus Sustainability Tour.
