New International Student Orientation
Learn about windchill, bus schedules and how to get from Building 5 to Building 9 without going outside. The answers to all of your questions will be answered at an orientation tailored specifically for new international students.
The orientation takes place during the first week of classes. All new international students will receive an invitation.
MacEwan International programs
Meet your mentor, a fellow student who will help ease the transition into MacEwan by guiding you during your first year on campus. Mentors have been MacEwan students for at least a year themselves and are happy to show you the ropes.
Drop by for tea, cookies and conversation every Friday afternoon at 3:00 p.m. At these informal gatherings, you can meet fellow students, ask questions and get just the right start on your weekend.
Lift weights, run on the treadmill, go for a swim, stretch on the yoga mats. With the sports buddy program, a fellow student will introduce you to the Christensen Family Sport Centre where you can try your hand at something new or take your ability to the next level. Join us and see how an active lifestyle provides the perfect balance to your time in the classroom.
Bat around the birdie while socializing with fellow students, developing your skill as a player and enjoying a bit of friendly competition. Whether you are new to the game or have plenty of experience, we want to see you on the court! Register at the Sport and Wellness Welcome Desk to join the club or check out the fun during our drop-in times.
