IMAGE_STORY_FYPS_SpeakersPut on your glasses and settle into your favourite reading nook. March is a big month for Canadian literature at MacEwan University. You could get the chance to meet one of your favourite Canadian authors at one of the upcoming Canadian Author Series or MacEwan Book of the Year events.

Did you know that MacEwan was one of the first post-secondary institutions in Canada to establish a “book of the year” program? Now in its 19th year, MacEwan University Book of the Year celebrates Station Eleven author Emily St. John Mandel when she pays a visit to the campus this month.

And don’t forget—the Book of the Year Student Contest deadline is March 31. Enter your best essay or creative project inspired by Station Eleven for a chance to win one of two $750 prizes.
