MacEwan Research Chairs contribute to building the research culture at the university. They contribute to the advancement of MacEwan University’s Research Strategic Plan and the development of a strong academic and scholarly culture both within the institution and in the larger community.
This program supports faculty who have demonstrated or who have shown potential for exceptional scholarly distinction.
The Office of the Provost and Vice President Academic solicits applications for up to two Research Chairs from any discipline. The research or creative activity described in the application for research chair must align with the goals outlined in the Research Strategic Plan.
3. Navigate to the My Grant Application page and select Board of Governors Research Chair from the list of awards. Choose Start a New Application to begin a new application. Applications that have already been started can also be accessed from this screen.
Note: Board of Governors Research Chair will only show up in the list when applications are open.
Deadline to apply: March 1 | Duration: Two years, non-renewable | Tenured faculty (at the time of application)
