All full-time students are invited to apply for research project funding through the Project Grant. With this grant, you take the lead on a project of your choice that has a research, scholarly activity or creative focus. You need to have a faculty mentor to guide your project, but you take the lead. Your project proposal outlines how the activity will enhance your knowledge in your discipline.
Faculty mentors: Submit the application by following these steps:
3. Navigate to the My Grant Application page and select Dissemination Grant from the list of awards. Choose Start a New Application to begin a new application. Applications that have already been started can also be accessed from this screen.
Note: USRI Project will only show up in the list when applications are open.
Note: Applications will be adjudicated taking into account that no international travel will occur before August 31, 2020. This is subject to change as the COVID-19 situation evolves. Domestic travel will be adjudicated in line with current policy on this, but students are advised that policy may also change in future if further government restrictions are enforced.
We acknowledge that the land on which we gather in Treaty Six Territory is the traditional gathering place for many Indigenous people. We honour and respect the history, languages, ceremonies and culture of the First Nations, Métis and Inuit who call this territory home.
