Dean's Medal

Awards: Spring 2020 Convocation

While the Spring Convocation ceremonies will be cancelled, we look forward to announcing the recipients of the student awards that are traditionally presented at convocation – including the President’s Medal and the Dean’s Medals for Academic Excellence – and to honouring our distinguished teachers and researchers.

We are also making plans and exploring options to recognize the many accomplishments of the Class of 2020 later this year, potentially at the time of Fall Convocation.

The Dean's Medal for Academic Excellence is awarded to the student with the highest academic achievement in each faculty or school.

Each dean may award one medal to a graduating student in a certificate or diploma program and one medal to a graduating student in a degree program. Medal recipients are recognized by the dean for their exemplary success in meeting their program's academic requirements.
