Marcello Di Cintio, a literary non-fiction writer and free-lance journalist, is the author of Pay No Heed to the Rockets: Palestine in the Present Tense (Goose Lane, 2018), Walls: Travels Along the Barricades (Goose Lane, 2013), Poets and Pahlevans: A Journey into the Heart of Iran (Knopf, 2006), and Harmattan: Wind Across West Africa (Insomniac Press, 2003). He is a two-time winner of the Wilfred Eggleston Prize for Best Nonfiction at the Alberta Book Awards. His journalism has been published in many publications including The Walrus, EnRoute, and Reader's Digest Canada. He lives in Calgary.
