Biography

Sean Rogers has worked full time at MacEwan University since 2010. he has worked as a registered clinical and counselling psychologist since 1997, specializing in children, adoption, attachment and trauma. He is a passionate instructor who teaches Introductory Psychology, Research Methods and Child Development. 

Available to supervise senior students' independent study.

Teaching and Research Interests

As a former member of the Canadian military, Sean developed a strong interest in how exposure to combat effects members of the armed forces. As a therapist, he has worked extensively with trauma in children and adults. As a researcher, he finds himself most passionate about the area of growth through adversity—how people react to stressful circumstances and how these can effect positive, as well as negative, changes.
