Jon Coulson began professional life as a high school math, physics, chemistry, and biology teacher. He taught high school in Alberta and in Queensland and Tasmania in Australia. After completing his Master’s degree in Computer Science at the University of New England (Australia), Jon held a joint appointment of Lecturer in the School of Education and as instructional designer in the School of Health at the University of New England. Jon taught in the Computer Science department at the University of Prince Edward Island before returning to Edmonton. In 2006, Jon joined the Instructional Media and Design department at MacEwan Univeristy as an Educational Technology Facilitator. He then joined the Computer Science department (also at MacEwan University) as it’s Laboratory Supervisor in 2012 where he also teaches Computer Science and Educational Technology.
