Learn about the history of property and how to manage property effectively. Then get into the nuts and bolts of this field, from the property managers relationships with property owners and tenants to ethical dealings, legal requirements and managing a property management company.

In addition to the core business courses and non-business courses taken by all Bachelor of Commerce students, students in the Property Management minor complete additional credits as outlined below:

Overall minor requirement

Complete:

     PMGT 301 - Introduction to Property Management
     PMGT 304 - Property Operations for the Property Manager
     LEGL 350 - Real Estate Law

 

AND

Choose 6 credits from:

     PMGT 302 - Workforce & Tenant Management in Property Management
     MARK 324 - Marketing and Leasing Investment Properties
     PMGT 305 - Budgeting and Finance in Property Management
