How to prepare

You can use a grammar textbook to review punctuation, capitalization, word choice, sentence structure, apostrophes, pronouns, spelling and verb/subject agreement.

Schedule your exam

Once the Office of the University Registrar (OUR) processes your application and official post-secondary transcripts to confirm you have met the academic requirements of 30 post-secondary credits, including a post-secondary English course, the PR program will contact you through your MyMacEwan email to schedule the PR English Entrance Exam.

Applicants who live within 100km from Edmonton will write the exam during scheduled sessions at MacEwan’s City Centre Campus. Applicants who live farther than 100km from Edmonton can schedule the exam at a local educational institution. Instructions on how to coordinate distance exams will be emailed when the OUR has confirmed the academic requirements have been met.
