Usually, fourth-year students in the Strategic Marketing class meet with community clients in person to discuss and address their marketing needs. This year, with pandemic protocols to follow, their presentations went a new direction.
When Jacob decided to study marketing and organizational behaviour through MacEwan's Study Abroad program, his learning took place on bike paths and city streets, in cafes and restaurants and alongside students from around the globe. "If you don’t go out and talk to people, you’re missing out," he says.
