Nursing Informatics for Every Practicing Nurse

Nursing is a knowledge-based profession requiring the right information at the right time to guide decision making. Informatics is an integral component of nursing practice in today's high-tech and complex health care environment. By completing this introductory self-study course, students will be able to gain foundational knowledge in informatics to support their continuing competency development. The course is comprised of five units, introducing key informatics themes and trends impacting nursing practise.

Hours: 15

In order to enrol in this course, you must be admitted to one of the following programs: Critical Care/Emergency Nursing; Rehabilitation Nursing; Professional Nursing Development; Nurse Credentialling; Nursing Refresher or Perioperative Nursing for LPNs.
