Mental Health Nursing

Utilizing current research findings and a variety of methods of inquiry, the student acquires the knowledge and skill necessary to provide nursing care to persons with acute or chronic alterations in mental health. The focus is on the promotion of optimal client functioning. Students integrate theory into practice during the clinical placement.

In order to enrol in this course, you must be admitted to one of the following programs: Critical Care/ER Nursing; Nursing Refresher; or Nurse Credentialing.
