Through power point presentations, videos, interactive activities, and group discussions, this 3.5 hour stand-alone workshop will provide practical knowledge and skills to address mental health and mental illness on post-secondary campuses.
 
Learn about the signs of declining and poor mental health; the effects of mental illness on campus; the stigma of mental illness and the barriers to treatment; the Mental Health Continuum Model; and tools and skills to support your own mental health and that of others.

Tuesday, May 1 – 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
 
This event is free and open to all MacEwan students who are interested in learning more about mental health and how to support themselves and others.
 
Space is limited to 30 individuals per session, so please register to secure a spot.
