The Academic Pathways Program will be phased out for 2018.

The last intake for international students through this program will be May 2018. Commencing the Fall 2018 term, we are accepting international students who require additional support in the areas of academic upgrading or English as an Additional Language through direct application to: 

University Preparation (Academic upgrading):

University Preparation provides a full range of high school courses that are required for post secondary program admission. Improve your high school course grades and equivalencies to increase your competitiveness.

English as an Additional Language (EAL/ESL):

EAL provides courses tailored to improving English proficiency for post secondary program admission.

All Academic Pathway program students must complete a mandatory English and Math placement test before enrolling in courses for University Preparation (academic upgrading) and English as an Additional Language (EAL/ESL). This can be arranged with the University Preparation or English as an Additional Language office upon arrival into the city.
 

The School of Continuing Education also offers special purpose English language training courses and a variety of professional development programs designed specifically for international students.
