Statement: Centre High COVID-19 Watch, October 7, 2020
The Chief Medical Officer of Health has declared a COVID-19 watch at Centre High at Alberta College Campus because five or more cases of the virus have been confirmed.
Alberta Health Services has stated that the risk of the general population of the building becoming infected because of these cases is low. The university has also assessed this risk as very low, and has determined that activities at the Conservatory of Music can continue.
The university’s focus is on assisting with cleaning of the facility and protecting the Conservatory of Music students and the university staff at the campus. If you are planning to visit the Alberta College Campus, please complete the AHS COVID-19 self assessment.
If you experience any symptoms of COVID-19, stay at home and call 811 for advice on next steps.
Updates from Alberta Health Services can be found on the COVID-19 school status map.
