One of the most enjoyable aspects of learning music is exploring musical performance in an ensemble setting. Once you’ve mastered the basics of your instrument of choice, expand your skills by playing in a group.
Playing in an ensemble helps to develop aural skills such as intonation and dynamics, improves sight-reading and rhythm recognition, and encourages participants to play challenging and exciting music. Ensembles also perform at various functions and concerts throughout the year, both at the Conservatory and throughout the community.
From our Percussion Ensemble and Big Band to our Children's Choir and orchestra, we offer a wide variety of exciting musical ensembles that study and perform captivating music from a wide range of genres.
