In-person or online lessons are available on weekdays and weekends throughout the year.
Lesson prices vary based on instructor, instrument, and the length of lesson. The average price ranges from $25-40 (30 minutes), $40-55 (45 minutes), $50-70 (60 minutes).

Based on your specific interest and availability, we will forward your information along to one of our instructors.
A teacher will contact you to discuss musical goals, lesson times and rates.
Feel free to contact the Conservatory office to follow up with your teacher request.
We are excited to support your child's music education and committed to providing the highest quality instruction in a safe and inviting atmosphere.
Parents/Guardians are liable for the safety of their students before or after scheduled lesson times. It is the parent’s responsibility to ensure that their child arrives and departs safely, in a timely manner, from our premises.
Children must always be accompanied by a parent. Parents assume the responsibility for the well-being and safety of minors who are left unattended on the campus.
Parents have the right to access their child at any time. Please avoid lesson interruption whenever possible.
Please know that the Conservatory of Music bears no legal responsibility in enforcing terms of custody.
A parking discount program is available for all students. Parents shall make use of this program to ensure their children are escorted to the lesson/class and parking regulations are respected.
Parents also assume liability for their children attending special events held at the Conservatory such as Master Classes, Recitals, Concerts, Workshops, etc.
Practice room access is a privilege offered to students at the Conservatory. Only students who have a Conservatory membership are allowed the use of the practice rooms. The Conservatory reserves the right to deny entry to a practice room at their discretion.
Practice Rooms are located at the Alberta College Campus on the 4th and 5th floors.
The purpose of Conservatory practice rooms is for music practice. Students request access to the practice room at the Conservatory office (Room 511 or at the Security Office if the Conservatory office is closed). The maximum length of each practice time is 2 hours.
Parental supervision is required for children when using a practice room. This can include waiting outside the room in the nearby waiting area.
Food or drinks are not permitted in the practice rooms. Please keep the practice rooms clean and report any damage or untidiness to the Conservatory office.
The Conservatory is not liable for any theft or personal loss that may occur.
The Campus Security office is located on the main floor at the north entrance of the Alberta College Campus.

We welcome all homeschool students for private lessons and any of our courses or programs.
Contact your homeschool affiliation for details regarding funding support for music lessons.
The Alberta College Campus surface parking lot entrance is found along MacDonald Drive.
MacDonald Drive is a one-way street running west from 100 Street to 101 Street and is one block south of Jasper Ave. This lot is shared with McDougall United Church.
Discounted parking rates
The discount parking program is created for students/parents who need to park their vehicles during music lessons or programs at the Alberta College Campus. Students may contact the Conservatory office to obtain a parking code and instructions after they purchase the student membership. The parking code only applies on the Honk Mobile app. (It does not work on the machine at the Campus parking lot.)

Parking payments at the Alberta College Campus can be made using the HonkMobile App with credit card or paypal. Download this app and fill in the required personal information before parking at the Alberta College Campus.

When dropping off or picking up students, DO NOT remain in loading zones or other areas around the building where idling is not permitted. The parking discount program is offered to all students. Parents/guardians are encouraged to utilize this program to ensure their children are escorted to the lesson/class.
DO NOT park on MacDonald Drive between 3 and 6 p.m. on weekdays. This is a city of Edmonton Parking towing zone that is frequently monitored.
