Business Analysis & Professional Communication
Executive Professional Development for International Students
The School of Continuing Education supports MacEwan University’s international strategy of preparing students, faculty and staff to succeed in and contribute to a global society.
Organizations are increasingly recognizing that business analysis services are critical to improving organizational effectiveness, efficiency, and financial performance. Business analysts are engaged at all levels of organizations, working on strategic initiatives, operational projects and continuous improvement. Whether you are new to business analysis, an experienced business analyst, a systems analyst, a project manager, a program manager, or a consultant, it is important to be effective at defining business requirements and evaluating and recommending solutions that provide value to stakeholders.
MacEwan University, an Endorsed Education Provider with International Institute of Business Analysis™ (IIBA®), is pleased to offer this practical, hands-on program that is aligned with A Guide to the Business Analysis Body of Knowledge® (BABOK® Guide v3) published by IIBA. These courses will also help you prepare for certification with IIBA and satisfy eligibility requirements for the Certified Business Analysis Professional™ (CBAP®) designation and/or the Certification of Competency in Business Analysis™ (CCBA®) - the industry benchmarks of excellence for business analysis.
For more information regarding IIBA certification requirements, please visit IIBA.org.
In addition to training in business analysis, you will develop your verbal, written and non-verbal communication skills and confidence. Topics such as the Canadian workplace and intercultural communication will support the development of your English professional communication skills and enhance your performance and success.
IIBA, BABOK, CBAP and CCBA are registered marks of the International Association of Business Analysis.
