Courses offered (except CMSK 0011 and CMSK 0015) are equivalent to Alberta Learning courses and are accepted for admission purposes by all post-secondary institutions within Alberta and Canada.
A prerequisite is a preliminary requirement, normally the completion of another course, usually with a minimum grade of D, which must be met before a course can be taken. For example, the prerequisite for CHEM 30 is CHEM 20.
It is very important that prerequisites are met since institutions have the right to withhold credit for any course taken for which the prerequisites were not first satisfied. Prerequisites are listed at the end of the individual course descriptions.
The course list identifies approved courses that MacEwan University may offer. Not all courses will be offered every term.
