MacEwan University’s Scholarship and Awards
As a MacEwan University student, you are eligible for a number of scholarships, awards and bursaries. Some are open to all students. Others are for students in specific programs or faculties only.
Search our Scholarships, Awards and Bursaries database for details on awards that may be available to you. You can select "Students with Disabilities" as a search query to find specific awards. Current applicants and students can search and apply for awards through myStudentSystem.
The National Educational Association of Disabled Students (NEADS) compiles a list of awards offered to students with disabilities in Canada. Check their Disability Awards page at www.disabilityawards.ca .
Canada Study Grants for Students with Permanent Disabilities (Student Aid Alberta)
You can apply to Student Aid Alberta for funding such as loans and grants. Visit the Student Aid website for more information. You may be eligible for the Canada Study Grants for Students with Permanent Disabilities (CSG-PD).
You may also be eligible for funding to cover the costs of some of the recommended services and technologies listed in your Individual Service Plan (ISP). Resources such as the Canada Study Grant for Services and Equipment (CSG-SE), and the Grant for Disabled Students (GFD) can help cover some of your costs.
